The Opportunity We are looking for a passionate and collaborative Electronics Engineer with low frequency RF product development experience to join the Gallagher Animal Management Product and Technology team. You will play a key role in designing, prototyping, and optimizing electronic circuits and components, leveraging your deep knowledge and experience to drive technical excellence and achieve project objectives. Work closely alongside cross-functional teams to design innovative solutions that meet customer needs and market demands. Ensuring that our products are designed to operate in harsh environments, with high reliability, and strictly conform to global safety standards. You will take a key role in shaping, innovating, and advancing our position as a leader in the industry. The Fit You’re an experienced electronic design engineer with at least 5 years’ experience in commercial product development. You thrive in collaborative settings and are committed to delivering innovative products. To succeed in this role, you’ll also need:
- Experience with RF circuit design, especially RFID readers, antennas, etc.
- Broad skills and technical knowledge of analogue and digital circuits.
- A high level of proficiency designing complex schematic and PCB level products.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
- A collaborative spirit and a commitment to quality.
- Strong effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Altium Designer PCB design software.
- Experience with simulation tools such as SIMetrix, LTspice, etc.
- An agricultural background or knowledge of farm animal management.
