They provide comprehensive solutions to address the challenges in customers' data center environment. The New Roles
- Provide tier 1 and tier 2 support for desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues; troubleshoot hardware and software issues on Windows.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems and software applications.
- Ensure proper configuration of desktop systems to align with organizational security and compliance requirements.
- Set up new desktops and laptops, including imaging, deployment, and configuration for new users.
- Plan and execute hardware upgrades and software migrations.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles for both end-users and internal use.
- Monitor system performance and escalate issues when necessary.
- Create reports on hardware and software inventory, system issues, and resolutions.
- Work with other IT teams (network engineers, systems administrators, etc.) to resolve complex technical issues.
- Assist in maintaining IT infrastructure, such as servers, printers, and storage systems.
