About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to join our Operations Excellence and Automation team in Zurich Malaysia. As a key member of this team, you will play a vital role in supporting various Business Units in their automation projects, driving efficiency, and making a meaningful impact in our operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using programming languages such as Python, Java, and scripting languages like Python , BASH , VBA, LLM and other Gen AI tools.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop solutions that automate manual processes, ensuring operational excellence.
3. Create and maintain documentation for automation processes, including technical specifications and user manuals.
4. Perform testing and debugging of automation solutions to ensure they work as intended and meet quality standards.
5. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for automation solutions, including troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
6. Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in automation technology, and make recommendations for improving existing processes and systems.
7. Provide training and support to end-users on how to use automation solutions effectively.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
2. Proven experience working with automation tools and technologies, particularly UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or similar platforms.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
5. Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools, proficiency in programming and scripting languages, and knowledge of software development best practices.
