Head of Operational Excellence - Kuwait City - HealthCare Dynamics Gen. Trading Company W.L.L

The Head of Operational Excellence is a pivotal role at Al Mulla Group, driving operational efficiencies, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction across the company's diverse business verticals. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop a comprehensive operational excellence strategy, incorporating best practices from Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies, to drive business growth and competitiveness.
  2. Operational Synergies: Identify cross-functional synergies between business units to optimize operational processes, eliminate redundancies, and enhance resource allocation.
  3. Business-Specific Process Improvement: Lead tailored process improvement initiatives for each business vertical, using Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or Total Quality Management frameworks, to assess and improve process efficiency.
  4. Cost Optimization: Develop cost-reduction strategies across all business units, improving procurement processes, reducing waste, optimizing resource allocation, and increasing overall operational efficiency.
  5. Project Management: Oversee and mentor project managers, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, and implement project governance frameworks to improve accountability and success rates.
  6. Change Management and Cultural Transformation: Build a culture of continuous improvement by guiding organizational change initiatives, leading workshops, and capability-building programs to empower employees to embrace operational excellence and innovation.
  7. Innovation and Emerging Technologies: Evaluate and adopt cutting-edge tools and technologies, such as AI, IoT, and data analytics, to improve process automation, predict operational bottlenecks, and enhance decision-making.
  8. Customer-Centric Operations: Drive a customer-centric approach in operational processes, ensuring the company's services and products meet and exceed customer expectations, and develop metrics to monitor and enhance customer satisfaction.
  9. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish and monitor KPIs specific to each business vertical, including manufacturing efficiency, customer service delivery, financial service compliance, and fleet management performance, and track operational metrics through an executive-level dashboard.
Expected Outcomes:
  1. Achieve measurable improvements in operational efficiency across all business divisions within 6-12 months.
  2. Implement sustainable cost-reduction strategies leading to a 5-10% reduction in operational costs.
  3. Increase customer satisfaction across service-oriented divisions by improving response times, service quality, and overall customer experience.
  4. Ensure successful delivery of key operational projects within scope, time, and budget, with no major delays or cost overruns.
  5. Foster a culture of continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.
Education and Experience:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  2. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP, Agile) is highly preferred.
  3. Minimum 15-20 years of experience in operations management, process improvement, or a related field, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role.
  4. Proven track record of implementing large-scale operational excellence programs within a multi-industry environment.
Skills and Competencies:
  1. In-depth knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, TQM, Agile, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  2. Exceptional project management skills with experience in delivering complex, cross-functional projects across various industries.
  3. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  4. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams.
  5. Knowledge of emerging technologies and tools, and their applications in process improvement.
  6. Preferred Language: English, Arabic
  7. Duty Shift / Timings: One Shift / 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
