Senior Interior Architect Jobs in Abu Dhabi, UAE by SSH InternationalSenior Interior ArchitectSSH International- Abu Dhabi, UAEPosted In 23/10/2013Job Description:The Senior Architect / Interior Architect is the Department of Design design and/or technical lead professional on a Design Project.The Senior Architect is a team/group leader with a strong background in developing Design Conceptually and/or Technically; translating them into solutions.The Senior Architect has an in-depth knowledge of materials and the latest construction methods.Job CategoryEngineeringJob RequirementsExperienceAnyCareer LevelSeniorJob TypeFull TimeVacancies1 Open PositionSalaryNegotiableGenderAnyDegree LevelBachelor's degreeFaculty / InstituteAnyMajorArchitectureAgeAnyNationalityAnyResidence LocationAnyLanguagesAnyOwn a CarAnyHave Driving LicenseAnyJob SkillsParticipates in the development of the Design / Production team structure, size and composition and a project time schedule in collaboration with the Project Principal.Assists the Project Principal in assessing the requirements of a project, break a project into tasks, and to determine scope of work, budget and staffing.Writes scope of work for design, based on preliminary review and meetings with the Project Principal.Collaborates with the Project Principal throughout the duration of a project to establish realistic and achievable project goals with prudent time schedules.Attends design meetings with various parties (clients, suppliers, statutory authorities, other disciplines, site meetings) to clarify and/or confirm requirements, obtain information and ensure that all design facets of the projects are being correctly scoped.Ensures the appropriate involvement of structural, mechanical and electrical disciplines in the development of concept designs.Manages the development of the approved concept design into a functional and efficient schematic arrangement that is effectively coordinated with the other disciplines (Engineering, Structural/ Civil & QS).Assists in the preparation of preliminary cost estimates for concept designs.Assists in preparing correspondence to clients, consultants, municipal authorities, contractors and other relevant parties, in co-ordination with the Project Principal.Apprises the Project Principal completely on the status of all projects being managed.Evaluates the work performance of Project Team members, gives face-to-face verbal feedback, guidance and assessment at regular intervals (on a weekly basis) and provides the Project Principal with a written performance assessment for all staff that have worked on projects under his control (on a monthly basis).Promotes use of and participates in development of company design and production standards.About The CompanyHaving been in business for 50 years, we have accumulated unparalleled knowledge, skill, and creativity.
