HVAC Inspector

This position is physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP Under the supervision of the Facility Inspection Lead and/or Supervisor, the candidate must have the ability to lead all duties and responsibilities of an HVAC section. This includes maintenance, repair, and replacement of heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment. Responsibilities

1. Provides maintenance, repair, and replacement of heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment.

1. Education/Certifications: One year of related experience may be substituted for one year of education if a degree is required.
2. Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
3. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
4. A valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a host nation Driver’s License.

1. 5 years of HVAC experience with trade certifications.
2. 2 years of supervisory experience.

1. High school graduate or equivalent required.
2. 2 years of HVAC or related technical school is highly desirable. Must provide a copy of the diploma and certificates.

1. Maintenance, repair, and replacement of heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment.

1. Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).
3. Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.

1. Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
2. Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working in areas where a potential exists for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
3. Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
4. Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
