Job Title : Junior Elevator Technician Location : Kuwait Department : Elevators Department Reports To : Senior Elevator Technician / Maintenance Manager Job Type : Full-time, Permanent Job Overview : We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Junior Elevator Technician to join our Elevators Department. The ideal candidate will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of elevators and escalators, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all equipment. This is an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills and grow within the field of elevator services in a dynamic and supportive work environment. Key Responsibilities :
- Installation & Commissioning :
- Assist in the installation of elevators and escalators in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, under the guidance of senior technicians.
- Maintenance & Repair :
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections on various elevator systems to ensure operational safety and efficiency. Troubleshoot and repair any technical issues, ensuring quick resolutions to minimize downtime.
- Diagnostics :
- Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify issues in elevator systems and recommend corrective actions.
- Education :
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Technical diploma or certification in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering is a plus.
- Experience :
- Prior experience in elevator maintenance, installation, or a related technical field is preferred but not required. Fresh graduates with an interest in the elevator industry are also encouraged to apply.
- Skills :
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Language :
- Proficiency in English (both spoken and written) is required. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Accommodation & Transportation :
- The company will provide accommodation and transportation to and from work.
- Meals :
- A food allowance of 20 KWD per month will be provided, or meals will be directly provided by the company.
