Job Description - SENIOR CATERING SUPERVISOR (ACC000080)Description:To supervise the team of the project in order to operate the project and dining room and ensure customer satisfaction. To ensure the standards of hygiene and cleanliness are observed at all times.Plan, organize and supervise the project operation.Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the project.Monitor the quality and quantity of foods from the kitchen and ensure that all menu items are ready for service at the appropriate time.Ensure that all equipment and utensils in the section are maintained to hygiene standards.Organize the service of meals in the Cafeteria to ensure that each area is correctly prepared for service.Ensure that food is attractively presented for service and that staff are working in compliance.Compile staff rosters and work schedules, in accordance with the laid down procedures.Maintain daily cleaning and hygiene schedules, in accordance with the laid down procedures.Ensure that all staff are of smart appearance wearing appropriate company uniform and observe good personal hygiene practices.Assist in the compilation of statistics and maintain records as required.Ensure that all equipment is used in a correct and safe manner and report any safety hazards identified.Ensure that the project is maintained in a clean and tidy condition at all times.Monitor and ensure adequate stocks are available in the project at all times.Demonstrate a polite and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow employees.Ensure that the proper procedures are adhered to at all times.Coordinate the requirements.Undertake any other duties as requested.
