Operations Executive (Project Cargo)

Responsibility: Meet with the customer to understand the project scope. Define specific tasks and timeframes needed for the project. Hold a pre-ops meeting with the customer, vendors, and internal teams to align on expectations. Coordinate with all relevant parties for smooth operations and minimal delays. Select the right vendors for the job. Collaborate with Technical Services, Marine Department, and Logistics Department. Work with Port Authorities when needed. Supervise on-site activities, including boarding the vessel if required. Manage third-party services from the office or shore site. Ensure safe discharging and loading within the customers budget. Monitor project costs. Issue the Port Disbursement Account (PDA). Handle any additional tasks that come up. Maximize profitability while delivering the expected results. Confirm with the customer that all deliverables and requirements were met. Create and share an activity report with timelines and photos. Review vendor invoices and timesheets. Issue the final invoice to the customer. Review lessons learned for future improvement. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION A minimum bachelors degree in business, SupplyChain & Logistics, or related subject. Good working knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel. A minimum of 1 - 2 years experience inlogistics and/or offshore agency sector. Field experience and good knowledge in thesector.
