Job Description
• Study the projects contract documents (time schedule, project design drawings, BOQ, etc.). • Ensures all relevant documentation for bid proposals is complete and accurate. • Preparation of tender pre-qualification documents by understanding the company work performed experience. • Ability to review vendors and select proper material suitable for the projects. • Contacting suppliers and get best offers for estimating. • Prepare technical proposals by reviewing tender documents/ drawings, preparing technical offers. • Prepare the financial/technical offer. • Negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs. • Preparation of materials take off. • Make necessary engineering calculations to support product selection/recommendation. • Prepare and follow up the RFI’s and variation orders and prepare notice to claim in cooperation with the contracts team.Job Requirements
- Proven working experience in mechanical engineering
- Creativity and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
- Technical writing skills
- BSc degree in Engineering
