It is an unaccompanied post, and domicile-to-duty transportation will be provided at no cost. Selected candidates may receive a 20% incentive at the time of hire and upon approved extensions. Basic Requirement for Information Technology Specialist (SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATION):
The successful candidate must have one year of specialized experience, including troubleshooting system components, managing system operations, providing LAN support, advising on contracting applications, and assisting in the preparation of standard operating procedures. The specialized experience must demonstrate four key competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving. These competencies are typically found in IT-related experience and include skills such as resolving problems, developing relationships, conveying complex information, and solving complex problems. Candidates will be evaluated based on their level of competency in areas such as Information Management, Problem Solving, Systems Integration, and Technical Competence. Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
