Company ProfilePlanys Technologies is an IIT Madras incubated start-up company that provides immersed robotic inspection and survey solutions using indigenously manufactured submersible remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROV) and autonomous underwater vehicles (AUV). Founders of the company are recent IIT Madras Alumni and faculty from Mechanical Engineering. Planys Technologies aims to cover the whole breadth of automated inspection solutions starting from customized design and fabrication of robotic platforms to integrated sensing and diagnostics. Planys's technology spans under the domain of marine robotics combining various inspection techniques and post-inspection analysis tools. (Website: www.planystech.com)Roles and ResponsibilitiesPreventive/ Corrective/Breakdown Maintenance of all the ROV & Sub Systems both Onsite & OffsiteTroubleshooting, Resolution, and Support for all ROV Related Issues Onsite and at OfficeTesting of all the PCBs and Crew Spare Module as per SOPMaintaining a database of ROV related Data logs pertaining to offsite, onsite maintenance, field issues etc.Support in Procurement, Vendor Selection, and Vendor ManagementHandling of crew related InventorySupport in Proper ROV packing, mobilization and post mobilization of the ROV including spare preparationSupport in Replication of the new ROV'sSupport Tech Support team on periodic updating of internal troubleshooting maintenancedocumentation based on the issues faced at site and from key learnings time to time.Ensuring Strict adherence & compliance to Health and Safety Protocols Both Onsite and at Planys WorkshopQualification Required:Bachelor's in electrical & Electronics Engineering with 1-3 Years of Experience or Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 2-4 Years of Experience in similar work profile.Should be ready to travel to sites, as and when required.
