The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SEO strategy, team leadership, and social media management (SMM). This role will enhance organic search visibility, drive traffic growth, and manage social media strategies. You will work closely with multiple teams to ensure a cohesive approach across all digital platforms while aligning SEO and SMM efforts with overall business goals.Key Responsibilities:Lead, manage, and mentor the SEO team across various digital platforms to drive organic growth and improve search rankings.Develop, implement, and oversee an integrated SEO strategy that covers technical SEO, on-page optimization, and content marketing for multiple websites.Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using industry tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs), identifying trends and providing actionable insights.Collaborate with the editorial, development, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are followed in content creation, website updates, and platform development.Design and execute social media management (SMM) strategies to boost engagement, audience growth, and cross-platform visibility.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and competitive landscape, and adjust strategies accordingly.Oversee the creation and execution of link-building campaigns to enhance site authority.Ensure SEO efforts are fully aligned with the company's broader digital and content marketing strategies.Provide regular reports to senior management on SEO and SMM performance, highlighting key metrics, success areas, and opportunities for improvement.Drive and monitor the SMM activities and strategies as per the company's goals and requirements.Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SEO and SMM across all digital touchpoints.Requirements:15+ years of experience in SEO with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.Extensive experience managing SEO for large-scale websites, with a proven record of driving organic traffic growth.Expertise in using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Google Analytics.Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and technical SEO best practices.Proficiency in SMM strategies, social media platforms, and analytics tools for measuring social media performance.Demonstrated ability to lead a team and collaborate across departments to drive a unified digital strategy.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.Outstanding communication, leadership, and project management skills.Experience working in a media or publishing environment is highly desirable. Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology / Communication or a related field.Experience: 15+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably within the web news publishing or digital media industry.Skills:Strong understanding of SEO best practices and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs).Proven track record of increasing organic search traffic and improving SERP rankings.Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Knowledge of coding techniquesCommitment to constantly improving key skills.Experience with coding techniques.Strong copywriting and analytical skillsPassion for digital mediaTime management skills.Leadership SkillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with local SEO, particularly in web news publishing or digital media.Familiarity with news cycles and the unique challenges of SEO for a news publishing platform.Advanced certifications in SEO, digital marketing, or related fields.
