JOB TITLE: LAND SURVEYOR
ROLE SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team for an exciting Airport project. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, with a proven track record of working on large-scale construction projects, preferably within the aviation industry. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and the chance to contribute to the successful completion of a major infrastructure project. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Conduct detailed surveys of land areas to determine precise measurements and boundaries, utilizing advanced surveying equipment and techniques.
- Prepare accurate survey reports, maps, and other documentation for use in the planning, design, and construction phases of the Airport project.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and other project stakeholders to ensure that surveying activities align with project specifications and requirements.
- Manage surveying teams and coordinate field operations to maintain project timelines and deliverables.
- Perform quality control checks on survey data and provide recommendations for corrective actions as needed.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to land surveying practices, ensuring compliance with all applicable requirements.
- Assist in the resolution of any land surveying issues or disputes that may arise during the course of the project.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior surveying staff members as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, with a strong background in construction and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, and laser scanners.
- Solid understanding of land surveying principles, methodologies, and techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex survey data and make informed decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing surveying teams and overseeing field operations.
- Familiarity with industry software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS applications.
- Professional licensure as a Land Surveyor preferred.
