Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Corporate Relations Manager to lead our government affairs and corporate relations efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with policymakers, trade associations, and critical stakeholders to support and further our business goals. This role involves close collaboration with key government departments and agencies at both state and central levels, as well as with policy think tanks, consulting organizations, and international policy organizations. Additionally, the candidate will track and secure grants available for technology and sustainability companies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Leadership and Team Management:Lead and manage a team focused on government affairs and corporate relations.Develop and implement strategies to engage with policymakers, trade associations, and critical stakeholders.Government and Stakeholder Relations:Establish and maintain strong relationships with key government departments and agencies at both state and central levels.Collaborate with policy think tanks, consulting organizations, and international policy organizations to influence and shape policy decisions beneficial to the company.Represent the company at industry forums, conferences, and other relevant events.Policy Advocacy and Strategy:Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments impacting the business.Develop and advocate for policy positions that align with the company's strategic goals.Prepare policy briefs, position papers, and other communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.Grant Tracking and Acquisition:Identify and track grants available for technology and sustainability companies.Develop and submit grant proposals that align with business objectives.Ensure compliance with grant requirements and manage relationships with grant-making bodies.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with internal departments to align government affairs strategies with business objectives.Communicate effectively with senior management regarding government affairs activities and outcomes.Provide training and guidance to internal teams on relevant legislative and regulatory issues.Qualifications:Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in government relations, public policy, or corporate affairs.Proven track record in managing relationships with government officials, policymakers, and industry associations.Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory processes at both state and central government levels.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.Experience in securing and managing grants for technology and sustainability initiatives is highly desirable.Willingness to travel as needed.Skills and Competencies:Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term strategies that align with business objectives and influence policy outcomes.Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders.Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.Team Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze legislative and regulatory changes and their impact on the business.Grant Management: Experience in identifying, securing, and managing grants.Competitive salary and benefits package.Professional growth and development opportunities.
