Job Title: Engineering Technician III (Physical/Dimensional) - PMEL - Kuwait

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provides training and advice for repair, calibration, and modification of a variety of complex precision measurement equipment utilized by GOK activities.
2. Offers technical and procedural advice and guidance to KAF personnel and other GOK personnel regarding metrology-related matters, including:
1. Repair, calibration or modification of precision measurement equipment
2. Conduct of laboratory operations
3. Resolution of customer measurement problems
3. Provides in-depth technical expertise in one or more disciplinary categories and facilitates OJT (On the Job) or formal classroom training as required.
4. Performs precision measurements, calibrations, modifications, maintenance and repair actions in all areas of laboratory operations.
5. Assists in obtaining and maintaining laboratory QA accreditation.
6. Calibrates, modifies, and repairs automated/specialized physical/dimensional and electro-optical test equipment and systems, as well as general-purpose test equipment.

Qualifications:

1. Associate's degree in a relevant Mechanical discipline from an accredited school is preferred.
2. Ten (10) years of experience operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating physical and dimensional precision measurement equipment and calibration laboratory reference standards.
3. OR completion of a Military precision measurement and calibration program with twelve (12) years of experience in operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating physical/dimensional IM&T.
4. US Citizenship required.
5. Valid US Passport.
6. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
