Senior Marketing Adviser - KSAOur client is an Irish government organisation with international offices throughout the globe. They are responsible for assisting Irish companies exporting their products into different markets.They are seeking a Senior Market Adviser to be based in the Embassy of Ireland in Riyadh, KSA specialising in assisting Irish companies in the areas of Life Sciences and HealthcareThe salary for the position is SAR 325,737 per annum with flights and medical provided on a single status or family status as required. Your direct report will be to the regional manager of the Company based in Dubai.Role PurposeThe purpose of this role is to work with Irish client companies to support them to achieve significant growth in their exports into the GCC region, with the primary market focus being on Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan. The successful candidate will be required to initiate and implement a range of sales and marketing led activities, utilising their consultancy skills and contact base, to identify opportunities for Irish client companies to achieve sales and exports in the MENA REGION.Key Deliverables:Deliver on a number of predetermined targets in relation to activities on behalf of client companies as agreed with the Manager Gulf states.Build relationships with key clients who are seeking to develop sales in the Gulf and agree key deliverables in accelerating their sales plans.Promote the Gulf markets to our key clients and to ensure that our client base is educated about the ways and means of succeeding in the region.Establish an extensive network of contacts at senior level in GCC buying organisations that will lead to increasing awareness of Ireland as a supply source.Identify new business development opportunities for priority clients, and advise clients on how they can best position themselves to win these sales and contracts Functional CompetenciesRecent commercial experience in Saudi Arabia, in a relevant sectorSales and marketing experience in the GCC and particularly in Saudi Arabia.Existing contact network that could be leveraged by clients seeking to export to this market.Ability to speak Arabic and advantage but not essentialExperience and knowledge of business development with strong consulting skills and a demonstrated ability to assess and challenge business plans for SMEs to help them grow their business.Ability to work on own initiative and also to manage projects.Degree qualified with 5-7 years relevant working experience.Demonstrated capacity to rapidly assimilate the key drivers in business sub-sectors and niches.Results orientation and "can-do" attitude; good organisational skills.Ability to influence and rapidly build credibility with clients and buyers.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good presentation skills.Behavioural CompetenciesResults FocusedThe ability to remain outcome and results focused with regard to business priorities and organisational goals, monitoring progress and adjusting approach ensuring delivery against the appropriate timescales.Innovation and Risk-TakingActively encourages new ideas, experimentation and measured risk-taking, while always being on the look out for opportunities to continuously improve business processes and efficiencies within the company and other client organisations.Problem Solving and Decision-MakingThe ability to be decisive and take tough decisions about clients, people and costs to deliver sustainable results, using the analysis of information and situations to make logical and sound decisions.Client FocusedThe ability to provide an excellent client service focusing on client needs and building and maintaining effective personal and business relations About The Company KCM is a privately owned Irish company established by Industry qualified construction professionals offering an honourable and hardworking approach to human resource solutions within the construction industry.KCM is a global search and recruitment company assisting both clients and candidates in Europe, the Middle East and the Southern Hemisphere.At KCM all our recruitment staff are qualified construction professionals having obtained significant practical knowledge before developing careers in recruitment.
