IMI2395 - Engineer, Industrial Security System Job Family Industrial Security and Fire Contract Type Direct Location Business Line Not Applicable Department Not Applicable Closing Date 26-Oct-2024 JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVESummary of the main purpose of the job as the basic function and scope of the job in terms of organization, geographicareas supported, financial or other volume/size metrics, strategic impact and nature of supervision received or exercisedrelated to the job in a descriptive manner.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESAreas of Accountabilities (list up to 10 prime activities)(Describe concisely each principles work activity listed in logical order normally the list with include the most importantduty first indicating important decision and recommendations made if applicable; start sentences with action verbs first)1. Strong understanding for High Commission for Industrial Security Directives (HCIS) version 2010 and 2017.2. Evaluating, analyzing security concerns and design the required counter-measure solutions.3. Confirms Security systems' and components' capabilities against local and international standards.4. Evaluates and assures Security systems operational reliability.5. Conducting security risk assessments.6. Prepares various types of security related reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information andtrends.7. Provides engineering insights in equipment selection with adequate attention towards compatibility with othersystems.8. Maintains consistency of security systems, requests, and follows up with maintenance supervisor.9. Establishes preventative maintenance schedules to various systems and equipment per manufacturerrecommendations.10.Coaching, training, and guiding technicians.11. Having experience in the security systems such as ACS, IDAS, IDMS, VMSS and VMS in addition to securityphysical equipment's such as crash barrier, drop raising arm barrier, turnstiles, x-ray machine, explosivedetector, walkthrough detector and crash rated barrier.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEBachelor of Electrical Engineering, information technology, electronics orequivalent.ExperienceAt least 3-9 years' experience related experience or equivalentLanguages Fluent in English and ArabicWORKING RELATIONSInternal Interactions All IS&F departments Proponents.External Interactions Vendors, suppliers, technical consultants, counterparts, and government entities.About Application ProcessIf you meet the criteria and you are enthusiastic about the role, we would welcome yourapplication.Tocomplete the application you would need the following document(s):
