Events and Marketing Manager - EMEA (AVP Level) Location: Dubai Reporting To: VP EMEA Marketing (London-based) Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in shaping the future of marketing across the Middle East and EMEA? We're seeking a dynamic and ambitious Marketing AVP to drive impactful marketing initiatives and events in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. This is your opportunity to become a key player in our global success story, bridging strategic international marketing with regional expertise. Based in Dubai, you will work closely with the VP EMEA Marketing and our regional team in Dubai. This is a dual-focused role, evenly split between event management and marketing campaign execution. It's perfect for an experienced marketing and events professional looking to grow into a regional marketing specialist role, navigating the complexities of the Middle East and Africa market while maintaining a global outlook. Marketing- Strategic leadership: develop a cohesive regional marketing strategy and execution plan, fully aligned with our global marketing effort.
- Integrated campaigns: drive impactful, multi-channel marketing campaigns tailored to institutional product priorities and sales initiative.
- Paid media management: own the development and implementation of paid media plans for both institutional and intermediary marketing.
- Digital expertise: leverage your digital marketing skills, particularly with tools like Marketo, to build targeted email and web campaigns that resonate with local audiences.
- Ongoing innovation: contribute to everyday marketing operations with a focus on enhancing effectiveness and driving results.
- Comprehensive ownership: oversee the full lifecycle of events, from initial concept to final reconciliation, including proprietary events and third-party conferences.
- Attention to detail: manage every detail, from budgets, site selection, and registration, to speaker coordination, transportation, and venue management.
- Innovation & impact: elevate events with creative ideas and data-driven decisions that maximize client value and deliver a lasting impression.
- Collaboration: work seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regional regulations and maintaining the highest standards of delivery.
- Market insight: stay ahead of industry trends to craft agendas that captivate target audiences and align with business priorities.
- Performance measurement: track and optimize event ROI with robust metrics, ensuring continuous improvement in attendance, engagement, and client satisfaction.
- 5-7+ years of hands-on marketing and events experience, with a proven ability to manage marketing campaigns and events across traditional formats and cutting-edge digital platforms.
- Middle East and Africa & European market savvy: deep understanding of navigating the Middle East and Africa & European markets while working within a global framework.
- A track record of meeting tight deadlines with precision, creativity, and a commitment to excellence.
- ETF marketing experience desirable.
- Expertise in analyzing marketing and event data to uncover insights and unlock new opportunities.
- Familiarity with marketing platforms like Marketo and CRM tools like Salesforce is highly desirable.
- Ability to brief and collaborate with design teams to bring compelling ideas to life.
- Willingness to travel across Middle East and Africa (and Europe) for meetings and events, along with experience using virtual conference and webinar tools.
