Job Description
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory records, minimizing obsolescence and preventing stockouts.
- Implement and monitor inventory control processes, including regular audits and cycle counts.
- Optimize inventory levels based on sales trends, customer demands, and seasonal variations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Source high-quality parts and materials while managing lead times and vendor performance.
- Expedite orders to meet urgent customer demands and maintain inventory availability.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by quickly addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fulfilling orders accurately and on time.
- Develop and implement effective sales and promotional strategies to drive revenue and increase market share.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and optimize product offerings.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a proficient team of parts department staff.
- Provide ongoing training and support to enhance team performance and knowledge.
- Establish clear performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide constructive feedback.
- Oversee the implementation and continual improvement of company SOPs to ensure efficient and consistent operations.
- Monitor department processes for adherence to safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Generate and analyze reports on inventory, sales, vendor performance, and customer satisfaction to inform decision-making.
- Provide management with insights and recommendations to improve profitability, customer service, and operational performance.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including budgets, forecasts, and expense tracking.
