ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To carry out taking-off quantities.
• To assist in the preparation and submission of tenders.
• To assist the QS in preparing project budgets.
• To assist the QS in the preparation of Materials Schedule.
• To measure work done at site and prepare interim claims.
• To assist the planning Sub-Department to prepare reports for various projects.
• To carry out the preparation and submission of Contractual Claims, Variation, etc.
• To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the Superior.

• Possess Diploma/Certificate in Quantity Surveying/Diploma in Building Technology or Diploma/Certificate in other related disciplines.
• Science graduates who are keen to pursue a career in quantity surveying can also be considered.
• 3 – 5 years’ working experience preferably from a building and construction industry in a similar position.
• Fresh graduate are encourage to apply
• Conversant in bilingual languages, namely English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Have good interpersonal and communication skills with strong inclination towards quality management practices.
• Must be a team player, committed and result-oriented.
• Must have the ability and personality to drive and motivate team to achieve common goals.
• Exposure in turnkey projects will be an added advantage.
• Preferably to be computer literate and familiar with MS Office Applications.
