Title Structural Design Engineer – Solar Industry Location Ahmedabad, Gujarat Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience renewable industry.
• Proficiency in civil engineering design software and tools.
• Knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal regulations and permitting processes.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently and within a team.
• Experience in solar project development, construction, or operations.
• Familiarity with renewable energy project financing and economics.
• Knowledge of sustainable and environmentally friendly construction practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro or other relevant design software.

Role Requirements

• Civil Design and Permitting: Lead the civil design phase of solar projects, including site layout, foundation design, and structural considerations. Prepare and submit permit applications, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Foundation Design: Design and oversee the construction of foundations for solar panels and related infrastructure, ensuring stability and durability in various soil and climate conditions.
• Infrastructure Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and design infrastructure components such as access roads, fencing, and drainage systems to support solar projects.
• Project Management: Manage and oversee contractors and subcontractors during the construction phase, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Quality Assurance and Safety: Implement and monitor quality control and safety protocols to ensure that all construction activities meet industry standards and safety requirements.
• Cost Management: Work to optimize project costs, providing cost estimates, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of project plans, engineering calculations, construction progress, and as-built documentation.
