Senior Expert in Waste Management and Recycling, Consulting Firm, UAE Job Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab EmiratesIndustry Type: Management ConsultingJob Type: Contracted Job Description Client: Consulting FirmRole: Senior Expert in Waste Management and RecyclingMain Responsibilities:Collecting and processing recyclable materials (like paper, plastics, metals, and glass) and selling them to manufacturers or other recyclers.Charging fees for waste collection services, often tiered based on the size of the service or frequency of pickup.Converting waste into energy through incineration or anaerobic digestion and selling the generated electricity or heat to the grid or local industries.Offering paid educational programs on recycling and waste reduction, which can foster community engagement and generate income.Implementing a system where customers pay based on the amount of waste they generate, encouraging recycling and reducing overall waste.Partnering with municipalities for public waste management services, often funded through taxes or grants.Turning waste materials into new products (e.g., furniture, art) and selling them at markets or online.Implementing smart waste management solutions (like sensor-equipped bins) that can optimize collection routes and improve recycling rates.Qualifications: Strong experience in Waste Management/Recycling Industry; Education in Business Administration; Previous experience of working in UAE is a plus.Workload/Location: Full time role, United Arab EmiratesEngagement: 6 months extendableStart date: Research very URGENT, immediately available Candidates preferred.
