 Job Summary:The Legal and Administrative Lead will oversee all legal and administrative functions of company. This role involves ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, managing contracts, and providing strategic administrative support to facilitate the innovation hub's objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in legal affairs, organizational management in startup ecosystem.Key Responsibilities: Legal Functions:Compliance Management: Ensure that the hub operates in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with partners, vendors, and stakeholders.Intellectual Property: Oversee the protection of intellectual property developed within the hub, including patents and trademarks.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with the hub's activities.Policy Development: Develop and implement policies related to legal compliance and ethical standards.Administrative Functions:Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in processes.Budget Oversight: Assist in budget planning and financial management, including monitoring expenditures and reporting.Event Coordination: Organize and manage events, workshops, and meetings that promote innovation and collaboration within the hub.Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation of legal and administrative activities.Qualifications:Education: BA LLB (Hons), LL.M (Master of laws) in corporate law, a degree in business administration or a related field is a plus.Experience: 14+ years of experience in legal practice, preferably in corporate law or a related field. Experience in an innovation hub, startup environment, or technology sector is highly desirable. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in contract negotiation and legal research. Strong organizational and project management skills.  Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
