Summary:We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our innovative Commerce Marketing AI startup. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of marketing technology and driving our company's growth. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our customer base.Responsibilities:Lead Generation and Prospecting:-Develop and execute a comprehensive lead generation strategy to identify and qualify potential clients within the target market.-Utilise various channels for prospecting, including networking events, cold outreach, social media, and industry conferences.-Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure a consistent flow of new business opportunities.Relationship Building and Client Acquisition:-Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at prospective clients.-Conduct effective sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value and unique features of our marketing AI solutions.-Negotiate and close deals that align with company goals and maximize revenue potential.Strategic Partnerships and Alliances:-Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with complementary technology providers, marketing agencies, and industry influencers.-Collaborate with partners to develop joint marketing campaigns, co-sell opportunities, and expand market reach.Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis:-Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the marketing AI landscape.-Conduct thorough research and analysis of competitors to identify market opportunities and refine our value proposition.Sales Reporting and Forecasting:-Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and activity reports using CRM tools.-Provide regular forecasts and insights to management regarding sales performance and pipeline projections.Qualifications:Experience: 1 to 3 years of proven success in business development or sales, preferably in the technology or marketing sectors.Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.Strong negotiation and closing skills.Proficiency in CRM tools and sales management software.Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of exceeding targets.Passion for marketing AI and emerging technologies.Well versed with Google Workspace, Slack, Airtable.Attributes:Entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability to a fast-paced startup environment.Strategic thinker with a focus on long-term growth and sustainability.Team player with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.Compensation and Benefits:Competitive salary and commission structure.Comprehensive benefits package.Opportunity to work on cutting-edge marketing AI technology and contribute to a rapidly growing company.To Apply:Please submit your resume and cover letter to careers@anphonic.aiWe look forward to hearing from you!
