Senior Manager cum Cloud Solution Architect

Role                           : Senior Manager cum Cloud Solution ArchitectExperience Required :  15+ Years Responsibilities: As a senior manager cum cloud solution architect, this role calls for working with customer directly and customer's team to ensure success of the project. In addition to understanding requirements from client-side manager and getting the work done by the team, this role also requires the candidate to code some utilities and work with business analysts in understanding and fixing any data issues. In addition to this, candidate should thoroughly understand the process and implementation of DevOps using any of the cloud service providers, preferably Azure or AWS. There is a team of Dhira that is responsible to take care of DevOps activities and candidate should take accountability of supporting all the client's AWS environments, using the team and make recommendations for cost optimization etc. The candidate should have experience in leading development teams and be able to code if needed. Here are the major responsibilities of the candidate: Should be able to understand requirements and translate them to technical tasks Should be able to manage development work and be part of regular releases along with other development teams. Optimize the existing processes for performance and ensure timely completion of batch processes. Architect any new solutions while working with customer and hand over the LLD to team for implementation. Should be very strong in SQL and understand the relational model of the DB, be able to write complex queries and analyse and fix data as needed. Coordinating with other team members during the application development process Be single point of contact for the key areas such as trade processing, security master API etc., that were developed by Dhira team earlier. Understands both business and technology, so can collaborate with both management and development team well and connect them to achieve common goals Providing support and maintenance for applications Thoroughly understand the client requirements and manage client's AWS accounts Provide monthly updates to Dhira management and take active part in Dhira's corporate responsibilities too, such as performing annual appraisals, nurturing team, taking care of team's issues, creating of corporate assets (blogs, policies etc.) and work with Dhira senior management in creation of RFP's as needed; and also work with other functions within Dhira, such as Talent Acquisition, Finance, other development teams etc., to define processes. Desired Traits: Excellent communication skills. Previous experience in managing mid to large development teams Previous experience in hands-on development. Hands on experience in Python preferred Familiarity with Git, Jira, and Agile methodology Good problem-solving skills Experience working in AWS or Azure for at least 3 years, either in infra provisioning OR in managing cloud-native applications Should have handled DevOps implementation either in Cloud or on-prem before Experience with other programming languages (e. g. Java, Node.js) is a plus Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Any certification in Azure or AWS would be a plus PRB
