You can expect: • Flexible benefits plan including virtual doctor consultation services • Comprehensive leave benefits • Gender Neutral Parental Leave • Flexible working arrangements • 25 days of annual paid leave, plus public holiday & Flexible Working Arrangement Your key responsibilities: • Act as the central point of contact for clients' investment needs / advice and be responsible for increasing share of wallet from existing clients • Partner up with the Relationship Manager to serve clients across a defined portfolio • Serve as strategic advisor on client's overall investment portfolio, and drive holistic portfolio construction and asset allocation activities, delivering the CIO view to clients and ensuring portfolios are built and overseen accordingly • Assess clients' overall risk appetite and keep client risk profiles up-to-date and regularly reviewed • Own overall suitability and appropriateness of all investments for the client; ensure that all corresponding checks are performed • Collaborate with the relationship manager on account behavior and flag relevant updates, and on input for KYC • Collaborate closely with key internal partners, including discretionary portfolio managers and DB WM's entire range of product specialists to deliver the firm's best capabilities, solutions and investment thinking • Proactively identify needs and corresponding opportunities to originate solutions across capital markets, discretionary mandates, advisory mandates and alternative investments • Proactively seek to manage and control risks while maximizing financial returns in line with regulations • Monitor clients' asset allocation across investments and provide ideas for rebalancing across product spectrum based on CIO view • Arrange and execute regular (quarterly, semi-annual, annual) investment and business reviews with assigned clients and relevant internal partners, highlighting and fill any gaps where required • Support the Relationship Managers in their new client acquisition efforts through participation in client pitches and showcasing Deutsche Bank Private Bank capabilities • Act within professional, legal and ethical boundaries and guidelines, observing all internal and external compliance regulations and code of ethics and conduct; flagging and managing reputational risks and conflicts issues Your skills and experience: • Minimum 8 years of relevant investment experience and in portfolio construction and asset allocation, with knowledge and understanding of private clients and U/HNWI client needs • Superior investment acumen in managing and/or advising on multi-asset class portfolios for clients across traditional and alternative assets • Fluent in delivering a capital market outlook from both an investment strategist's view (i.e., top down) and a manager's view (i.e., bottom up) with the purpose of articulating why suggested allocations and solutions are appropriate for a given investment objective and market environment • Experienced and excellent communication & collaboration skills in leading investment discussions in one-on-one meetings and small groups • Evidence of past success at building a business by attracting assets, principally as a result of the ability to quickly gain the confidence of a client • Fluent in discussing performance attribution • Have a good understanding of the governing regulatory framework (e.g. RDR, MiFID II, etc.), including but not limited to applicable confidentiality / secrecy / data protection regulations and cross border rules where relevant • Opportunistic/idea-driven investing • Relevant local licenses and qualifications • Minimum a Bachelor degree • Self-starter and ability to work with teams across different locations • Willing and able to develop other staff, e.g., analysts Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office.
