OBJECTIVE To capture all the stock movements through the receiving door, in the network for the stock control procedure and future reference. Ensure storing of correct information in the desired database. The data entered should be kept confidential.
- The job primarily is back office support to the retail business with specifically defined guidelines and policies set by the Finance department and the Group.
- Work in a fast-paced work environment.
- As required, gathers and analyzes information relating to invoice discrepancies and informs the line manager to minimize or avoid recurrence.
- Identifies needs and improvement opportunities on the invoice filing system and working environment and provides suggestions to the line manager to facilitate change at the process level.
- Ensure all the goods movements are entered in the system on a daily basis.
- Verify the checker signature, receiving stamps, and any other relevant information are completely performed on all documents before capturing the stock in the system.
- Make sure all the original documents are attached and forwarded to the concerned department.
- The data entry clerk has to check all the entries are matching with the supplier invoice and purchase order before forwarding to the concerned party.
- The data entry clerk has to maintain a log report of the goods movements for each department on a daily basis.
- Ensure our receiving documents are matching with the supplier documents (quantity/value basis).
- Cautious and serious in handling receiving documents.
- Analyzing the data for errors.
- Compile reports and coordinate with the Finance team along with discrepancy reports.
- Keeping sensitive customer or company information confidential.
- Create methods in implementing short-term strategic goals within the department to improve in achieving objectives.
- Minimum High School Diploma.
- At least 2 years of experience in the same field.
- Good computer skills.
- Must have an understanding of data confidentiality issues.
- Good Maths and English communication skills, verbal and written.
- The ability to work quickly and accurately, and pay attention to detail.
