Project Management Solution Architect

Job description

• For our global IT team, we are looking for a candidate to take over development of our new Project Management solution.
• You have at least 10-12 years of professional experience in Python and ReactJS development and min 5-6 years of professional experience in Project Office software by CONTACT Software company
• You are responsible for development of the Project Office (Contact) environment as technical responsible
• You define the software architecture, data modelling and databases for Project Office
• You coordinate activities between internal departments and software vendor
• You carry out business and process specific customizing and configuration inside the Contact system
• You need to align with operations team according to ITIL
• You are willing to build up knowledge of the new solution

• You are development experienced in Python and ReactJS You have knowledge about Project Management solution
• You are familiar with software architecture, data modelling and databases of applications
• You understand how infrastructure of an Enterprise technology platform is set up
• You can understand Python & Javascript and are able to debug it
• You know how client software is distributed on an Enterprise level
• You are interested not only in technology but also in the business processes using it
• You are willing to get in touch with other applications
• You enjoy working in international and multicultural teams and have strong communication skills
• You bring along creativity, logical-structured thinking, and a good portion of technical curiosity
• You have an independent, target-oriented and customer focused way of working
• You have fluent English skills

• Knowledge about project management processes
• Knowledge of solutions by Contact Software
• Knowledge of RedHat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Databases and Active Directory
• Knowledge of SAP or PTC solutions
• Process knowledge of PLM within automotive industries
• Experience in 2nd or 3rd level end user support

• Intensive training on the job
• Close connection to a central department in Germany with regular meetings

• UG - B.Tech/B.E./B. Sc - computer science, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable qualification
