Job Responsibilities:

  • Process all documentation and declarations timely to ensure smooth entry / departure of ships assigned.
  • Ensure full compliance to statutory formalities and declarations.
  • Facilitate paperwork, customs, quarantine, immigration requirements and approvals on the arrival and departure of the ship in port.
  • Arrange Port Authorities approvals for special assistance required by the vessel command, i.e. immobilization approval for main engine.
  • Coordinate with Stevedore Planning team to monitor vessel's cargo operations.
  • Coordinate with Ops Team for submitting all special cargo docs, i.e. Dangerous Goods Manifest, Reefer Manifest, OOG Manifest, etc.
  • Coordinate with Ship Chandler for delivery of goods on board.
  • Arrange all immigration formalities if any sick crew on board need medical assistance.
  • Arrange immigration, documentation, and transportation for sign on and sign off crews.
  • Arrange Customs Approval to discharge and load Seals Equipments / Ship Spares / BL Blank Form goods on board.
  • Check the Reefer Reports on board and arrange Reefer technician on board for repairing of the container.
  • Arrange completion certificate from the stevedore.
  • Arrange all documents, i.e. Ship Certificates, dep crew list, Ministry of health declarations form and upload in the Fasah.
  • Coordinate with Port Harbor Master through Fasah for the approval of Port Clearance.
  • Arrange the Port Clearance and submit to vessel command, Coast guard.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports to Operations Manager.
Educational Qualifications Required: Secondary Education / Diploma in computer studies. Experience: 1 year or more experience in port operations activities. Additional Technical Qualifications Required:
  • Computer skills, specifically Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and e-mail.
  • Knowledge of terminal equipment.

  • Able to work irregular days and hours.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Coordination and follow-up skills.
  • Analytical skills and ability to multi-task.
