Position:Government Affairs Supervisor - JVSection:Government AffairsCompany:QFABLocation:Ras LaffanJob Summary and PurposeLiaise with the government bodies on behalf of the Company and ensure all the government affairs formalities and related activities are completed on time, and compliance with applicable rules and regulations, while extending the required support to the Company and its staff.** PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO QATARI CANDIDATES **AccountabilitiesKey Accountabilities:Government Affairs:Arrange all required documents related to residents permits (PR) for employees and their family members (i.e. PR Issuance, renewal, transfer, cancellation, job title change, nationality, etc.) and apply related applications to the appropriate authorities, and follow up on their progress/processing.
Arrange all required documents and forms related to CID and all types of visas (work visas, business visa, visit visa, family entry visa, re-entry visa, housemaid visa, block visa, and new-born baby visa), and apply related applications to the appropriate authorities, and follow up on their progress/processing.
Draft and prepare general letters addressed to different parties such as ministries, medical, commission, customs, traffic department, etc.
Process Nakilat and Joint Venture Companies' staff exit permits in compliance with the applicable policies and regulations.
Participate in any investigations of visa, work, or civil irregularities concerning employees and assist the Head of Government Affairs to prepare related reports accordingly.
Coordinate with immigration authorities to collect employees' passports once the required transactions are processed.
Provide support and advice to Joint Ventures Companies regarding governmental affairs related formalities, requirements, and procedures.
Arrange and prepare all required documents related to renewing and updating NAKILAT and Joint Venture companies' legal licenses.
Keep standby to take any necessary actions in case of emergency or as needed.
Monitor the records of the government affairs related petty cash and credit cards receipts monthly.
Advise personnel on the required requirements and procedures related to any governmental affairs related services.
Coordinate with various government authorities in the event of an employee's death and ensure the timely escalation of the repatriation process.
Provide support to Nakilat and JV companies staff with matters related to obtaining Qatari driving license, car registration, and insurance.
Keep abreast with all government affairs related rules and regulations, and notify all concerned parties within Nakilat and JV companies with any related changes accordingly.
Handle matters related to Nakilat, JV companies and their staff with external entities such as ICT Qatar, General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority, Qatar Chamber, Kahrama, Ministry of Public Health, etc.
Apply for medical tests, fingerprints, and E-Gate appointments for Nakilat and JV companies' employees and their families.

Carry out any other related duties as directed by the Head of Government Affairs to support the relevant fleet technical team.Qualifications:Diploma in Business Administration or any other related field.
