We are looking for a CPP Electrical Engineer for one of our clients with the following details:Location: Doha AND KoreaStart Date: Jul 2024End Date: Jun 2026Work Status: Resident, SingleQualification and Experience Required:Qualification: Engineering degree in Electrical engineering.Experience: minimum 10 years' experience in Electrical field in offshore Oil and Gas industry.Computer literate, especially in Electrical engineering software and AVEVA Electrical product.Strong leadership skills and good communication skills.Good analytical skills.Familiar with "company general specifications" is a plus, and with relevant codes and standards.Language: fluent English.Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.Accountabilities:Ensure Engineering Dossier are delivered with a robust Electrical engineering definition and fit for purpose design that can be procured, fabricated, transported, installed, and operated safely, meeting the requirements of COMPANY standard, project basis of design, and SOR.Ensure assigned project tasks are well managed in accordance with the project execution plan and contractual requirements including thorough, efficient, and timely review of project Electrical discipline documents, realization of potential deviations to the standards, and challenge the design to achieve an optimized and fit for purpose outcome.Assist in project studies and meetings related to the Electrical discipline as per project approved gate levels and design maturity.Identify potential risks and scope changes, conducting initial impact assessment to provide detailed information to Electrical lead.Activities:Ensure Engineering Dossier delivered with a robust Electrical engineering definition and fit for purpose design that can be procured, fabricated, transported, installed, and operated safely, meeting the requirements of COMPANY standard, project basis of design, and SOR.Ensure and coordinate the proper realization of the Electrical design in compliance with COMPANY Standard, project specifications and procedures, time schedule, required level of quality and safety.Challenge EPCIC Contractor on the proposed design, oversee the development of the Electrical design including design philosophy, equipment datasheets, sizing calculation, schematic drawings, electrical cable engineering & layouts, lighting & earthing layouts, load list, tie-in list, interconnection drawings, bulk material, etc.Check the quality of the engineering documents prepared by the Contractor.Experience with Electrical control system & power management system and interfaces.Experience to handle Electrical part of Gas generator, Emergency generator.Experience of Electrical engineering for Living Quarters.Knowledge of ETAP and developing cases for various studies including protection system.Promote field technical optimization/cost savings, ensuring compliance with the project schedule and contracts, liaising with the Electrical Lead.Identify Electrical engineering technical decisions to be made. Define and manage clear way forward for these decisions to be made and report to Electrical Lead.Work with weight control engineer and engineering team to ensure close weight monitoring and control of weight.Ensure close coordination with other disciplines on all engineering, constructability, and operational matters.Ensure that relevant feedback/lessons learned from previous similar projects are considered in the design performance.Support procurement engineering including TBEs.Vendor documents reviews for Electrical equipment and for other packages.Assist in manufacture site visits/FAT of major equipment.Support fabrication and construction engineering on review of engineering documents, modification approval, non-conformity reviews and assist in closure of punch lists.Support project during installation and hookup stage, review/approval work-pack, review of red-marks.Thorough, efficient, and timely review of project Electrical discipline documents, realization of potential deviations to the standards, and challenge the design to achieve an optimized and fit for purpose outcome.Ensure project documents related to the Electrical discipline are reviewed and commented in a timely manner and in accordance with COMPANY standards, project specification and contractual requirements.Identify any optimization/improvement in the design dossier to be implemented in the early stage of detailed design, promote, and encourage submissions of value engineering proposals.Promote fit for purpose design to reduce and optimize planning and costs.Ensure standardization of design proposals for wellhead platforms. Regular interactions with engineers working on other packages would be required.Coordinate and issue project response to contractors and vendors requests on engineering design clarifications and TQR.Identify potential deviations to the COMPANY and assist in preparation of deviation package.Consult E&C department on Electrical deviation requests and interface with relevant TRP to secure needed approvals.Review final project documentation including final dossiers and as-built drawings.Assist in preparation and attend project studies including 3D model review, HAZID, HAZOP, constructability review, Project Review.Provide technical answers and clarifications to internal project audit sessions (PR, HAZOP, HAZID, etc.).Participate in weekly Electrical engineering meetings with Contractors, and in specific ad hoc meetings as required by management.Assist in preparation of engineering progress reports detailing Electrical discipline progress across schedule, risks and technical issues to ensure accurate and timely information is available to Package Management Team.Identify potential risks and scope changes within the Electrical discipline, conducting initial impact assessment to provide detailed information to Electrical Lead.Ensure the design follows the approved SOR, basis of design and project standards, captured and manage any changes as per project change management plan.If Interested Kindly apply.
