Field Service Engineer (Cable Maintenance)
You as a Field Service Engineer (cable maint.) will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Kuwait City, Al Kuwayt, Kuwait. You will be coordinating with the project management team to ensure cost-effective execution of oil cable maintenance deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.Your Responsibilities:
- Organizing and coordinating activities of site staff during the startup, maintenance, and repair phases of oil cable projects.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations specific to oil cable systems.
- Monitoring and inspecting oil cable installations and maintenance activities to ensure quality and safety.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to oil cable systems.
- Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities and project progress.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize maintenance processes and improve efficiency.

Your Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- More than 5 years of experience in Project Management Field, working as Project Manager role / Project Engineer with relevance to power transformer products, power substation, MV/HV switchgear.
- Demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules, and vendors/subcontractors.
- Sound knowledge of power transformer and the Utility and Industrial segment, market.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
- Oil filled Power cable maintenance & Flushing experience.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills.
