- Provide expert paediatric care, including neonate services, to improve health outcomes for children and babies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated care across the region.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure the delivery of evidence-based care.
- Mentor and train junior medical staff and contribute to both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs.
- Provide outreach outpatient services to northern regional hospitals.
- Take part in after-hours rosters and clinical review programs.
- Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent.
- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia in General Paediatrics and Child Health.
- Demonstrated experience in paediatrics, particularly in rural or regional settings.
- A commitment to improving access to healthcare for Aboriginal children.
