Urban Design & Planning (Design & Architecture) The Opportunity This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Town Planner to step into a newly created position and really make the role their own. With 4 DA's ready to go, you'll be managing the full planning process with external consultants, and work alongside the Acquisitions Manager to provide input and advice on future acquisitions. This role is based in Sydney CBD, with base salary dependent on experience (up to $240k base for an experienced candidate). Bonus + Employee Share Schemes included. The Role As the Head of Town Planning, you'll be responsible for managing the DA process for renewable farms nation-wide - Solar, Wind and BESS. Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Planning reviews to determine planning and/or community issues that may impact the site
- Environmental Impact Statements and Feasibility Reports
- Lodging DA's
- Providing advice to Owner and Team Members
- Minimum 5 years' experience in statutory planning, including managing the end-to-end DA process
- Experience with renewable and/or energy DA's, OR SSD's preferred
- Be a self-starter who can set their own goals and be adaptable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
