Workshop Supervisor - Rotating Equipment RepairEbara Elliott Energy is seeking a full-time Workshop Supervisor to join their team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role requires a candidate with hands-on experience in repairing rotating equipment and turbomachinery, specifically steam turbines and centrifugal compressors. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing workshop personnel, overseeing all workshop activities, and ensuring that production targets are met. Key duties include supervising technicians, maintaining high-quality standards, adhering to health and safety regulations, and providing training where necessary. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader capable of motivating a team and maintaining the workshop's reputation for excellence.Overview & ResponsibilitiesJob Duties:Management of workshop personnelDirect supervision of all shop floor techniciansResponsible for performance monitoring and end of year appraisalAllocate work to suit skills and support high productivityDetermine overtime requirements and changes to shifts to meet production demandsMotivate shop floor personnel, particularly where difficult situations ariseIdentification and execution of skills-based training requirementsSupervision of all workshop activitiesEnsure quality procedures are followedEnsure work is completed to the highest standardsBe the link and communication channel between the Workshop and the Engineer.Controlling the productionEnsure that the timing and priorities dictated by the repair schedules are respected.Achieve deliveries as set by the Shop ManagerEnsure work instructions are followed and signed off and that quality records are completed and signed offCollect work instruction books and return to the production supervisor once completeEnsure that all work instruction operations are correctly signed, dated and returned on timeEnsure qualityHealth and SafetyEnsure shop floor personnel operate within health and safety procedures as set out by the H&S manualEnsure that all accidents/incidents are reported and be involved with the investigation process as requiredDefine shop floor training requirements and implement as required.Ensure the workshop is tidy and controlledEnsure a good image and maintain reputation of the workshop both externally and internally within ElliottBase Location: Dammam, Saudi ArabiaJob Type: Full time, Permanent
