Our global network of top-tier specialists delivers comprehensive services over the full life cycle of a project to benefit clients in government and private industries.Position OverviewThe Project Accountant will administer the whole project accounting cycles, coordinate month-end and year-end closing of project accounts, submit monthly financial analysis for projects accounting, and implement and execute project closing procedures. In addition, the ideal applicant will work closely with the Project Managers (PMs) and technical staff to prepare the monthly management reporting packages for assigned projects, as well as assisting with special projects and castings. Preparing annual and mid-year budgets is essential to this role.Duties and ResponsibilitiesGenerating accurate and timely project budgets for project/corporate approval.Providing forecasts for gross revenue, contribution, and cash flow on a monthly basis.Providing monthly reports.Coordinating invoicing and billing schedules and reconciles monthly accounts receivable.Coordinating with PMs and finance/contracts department to ensure all financial instruments are up-to-date and reflect project requirements.Detailed tracking of all commitments.Minimum RequirementsThe candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related subject and a minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.About The CompanyAECOM is a focused supplier of consultancy, engineering and project management services to its customers in the world's oil and gas, minerals and metals, clean energy, environment and infrastructure markets.
