As Workout Specialist , you will play a crucial part in managing and restructuring non-performing loans (NPLs) and distressed assets. You will work closely with borrowers to negotiate restructuring plans, develop workout strategies, and ensure the timely recovery of outstanding loans, while maintaining positive relationships with our clients.Key Responsibilities:Analyze non-performing loans (NPLs) and develop restructuring strategies in line with the bank's policies.Negotiate repayment plans and workout agreements with clients to optimize recovery.Conduct in-depth financial analysis of distressed assets to assess their viability and propose appropriate solutions.Collaborate with legal teams and external consultants to handle litigation or enforcement actions when required.Monitor restructured accounts to ensure compliance with agreed terms and minimize further default risks.Prepare detailed reports and presentations on workout cases, recovery plans, and financial forecasts for senior management.Build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of professionalism and sensitivity to their circumstances.Stay updated on relevant regulations, market trends, and legal requirements to ensure all recovery actions are in line with legal standards.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in finance, Banking, Economics, or related field (Master's degree preferred).8-12 years of experience in loan restructuring, workout, or recovery within the banking industry.Strong analytical skills, with a deep understanding of financial statements, credit analysis, and risk management.Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with borrowers and internal stakeholders.Proficiency in legal aspects of loan restructuring, litigation, and debt recovery.Ability to handle pressure and work effectively within tight deadlines.Knowledge of local and international regulations related to distressed loans and asset recovery.Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are an advantage.Why Join Doha Bank?Opportunity to work with one of the leading banks in Qatar and be part of a dynamic and growth-oriented team.Competitive salary and benefits package.Professional development and training opportunities.Collaborative work environment with a focus on work-life balance.
