The Expert Supplier Payment will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales team by facilitating partner onboarding, addressing backend issues, conducting analysis, and contributing to special projects. What Expert Supplier Payment - JazzCash does?
Collaborate closely with the sales team to facilitate the onboarding of new partners and merchants onto the payment platform.
Act as a point of contact for partners, addressing backend issues, discrepancies, and inquiries related to supplier payments.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of merchant-to-distributor payments, verifying transaction details and resolving payment-related discrepancies.
Analyse payment data and generate reports to provide insights into payment trends, discrepancies, and potential areas for improvement.
Assist in the development and execution of special projects aimed at optimizing the supplier payment process, such as automation initiatives or process enhancements.
Work with cross-functional teams, including MMBL Ops, Finance and Product team to streamline payment workflows and troubleshoot technical issues.
Maintain accurate records of payment transactions, partner interactions, and issue resolutions.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in payment processing to contribute to continuous process improvement.
Provide exceptional customer service to partners and internal stakeholders, addressing queries promptly and professionally.
Contribute to a positive team environment by actively participating in team meetings, sharing insights, and collaborating on initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelors/Master's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Relevant experience will also be considered.
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within payment processing, finance, or operations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with partners and internal teams.
Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in payment processing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to resolve payment-related issues.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
