Job SummaryVanderlande is responsible for the Service & Maintenance of the Baggage Handling System at Different Airports. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Shift Leader to join our team. The Shift Leader will be a main responder to emergency situations and will lead a team to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance at the site matching our Service contract requirement.Essential Functions (Job Duties and Responsibilities)Exercise safe working practice at all timesInspect and diagnose complex mechanical/electrical systemsInspect and diagnose all the equipment of the systemsPerform specified preventive maintenanceCommunicate with various parties on the work performed and present status of specialty systemsInterpret engineering drawings in reference to layout, location, and operation of the system(s)Attend to faults, alarms, and warningsMonitor reporting through CMMS, including generating and closing work ordersReact to messages from the Control Room or managerReact to messages from the Operations Teams regarding Preventive or Corrective MaintenancePerform monthly CM/PM, including inspection, adjustment, cleaning, replacement parts as neededEnsure quality of maintenance executed on-site according to contract agreed with the customer(s)Manage system issues on-site with the maintenance team, manager, and the customerSetup and maintain work schedule to ensure fulfilment of contract deliverables and moreProvide assistance to Manager (if applicable) on daily operations and perform as the manager in his absenceEnsure proper levels of supplies (spare parts, tools, and office supplies) and manage vendor interactionsInitiate process improvements to ensure continuous improvement of the maintenance performance to the contractAct independently in several technical tasksIdentify issues that need extra attentionSolve problems which disturb the daily operationYour QualificationsMinimum 5 years technical experience in an industrial environmentWorking experience with mechanical, electrical and controls (PLC, PC) systems is a must3 years of prior experience as a Lead TeamPreferred QualificationsMinimum of 5 years Material Handling ExperienceMinimum of 3-year CMMS Experience preferredMinimum of 3 years PLC / SCADA ExperienceSelf-Starter and Pro-activeDetail Oriented and Stress ResistantCustomer OrientedInnovative and Self AssuredDecision Making AbilityAdaptableStrong leadership skills, troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsFully competent and versed in operations and maintenanceFlexibility with time, able to shift priorities quickly based on staff and system needsTeam playerStrong verbal and written communication skillsProactive and strong work ethic and initiative, who would like to grow and develop within the organizationWorking knowledge of computers and equipmentAbility to solve problems under pressurePro-active attitude towards process improvementAbility to work independentlyKnowledge of OSHA and safety practicesOther RequirementsMust be able to attain and sustain an Airport ID BadgeAbout UsAspire.
