In business for over 40 years, Academy Tiles is Australia's leading supplier of creative tiles, unique mosaics and decorative wallpaper. We import our upmarket products from Japan, Italy and Spain. No other tile importer in Australia launches inspirational new product as frequently as we do. We are known internationally for our discerning eye for new trends, our dynamic range and first-class ability to service Architects and Designers and their upmarket projects Australia-wide. We have Sales teams in NSW and VIC. Position We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic Architectural Sales Representative to join our Sydney team, based at our brand new and inspiring Redfern Showroom. This position is ideal for someone with an appreciation for high-quality designer products and with Sales and/or Account Management experience who can confidently develop and strengthen our existing relationships with Architects and Designers. Enjoy selling our inspirational and dynamic collections on upmarket Architectural and Designer projects.

  • Attractive salary package - including base salary, uncapped sales commission and car allowance will be offered. Onsite Redfern car spot included.
Key Responsibilities
  • Servicing our Architect and Designer clients, primarily on the road visiting their offices and also attracting them to appointments in our brand new Redfern showroom.
  • Developing trusted relationships with customers.
  • Prioritizing high-level and professional customer service.
  • Follow up on all leads and potential opportunities.
  • Establishing a pipeline of sales opportunities.
  • Negotiating and closing sales.
Requirements
  • Experienced in customer relationships and sales, preferably with Architects & Designers.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Motivated and well organised.
  • Effective negotiation and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Extensive training on our products, systems and processes will be provided.
