Pilates instructors are responsible for leading Pilates classes and providing guidance to CORE members who want to improve their physical fitness. They may also be called upon to design individualized exercise programs for members with specific goals or needs. At CORE we are looking for a multi-talented, motivated, and experienced Pilates Specialist to join our exclusive, Social Wellness Club. We offer world-class career development and progression opportunities in this fast-growing exclusive environment.Job ResponsibilitiesDemonstrating exercises to members and providing individualized instruction and corrections.Determining what equipment is needed for classes, such as balls, mats, blocks, straps, exercise balls, resistance bands, and weights.Before and after each instructed class, ensures that the Pilates reformer studio is well maintained and adequately equipped, including microphones, sound, projector and any additional audio/visual equipment that may have been used during the class.Teaching members stretching exercises to improve flexibility, posture, and cardiovascular health.Demonstrating how to use exercise equipment in a safe manner.Scheduling classes and communicating with members about class times and calendar.Assisting members with proper form during exercise routines.Observing members during class to monitor form, posture, breathing patterns, technique, and safety precautions.Leading group fitness classes that focus on strengthening the core muscles and improving balance and flexibility.Conducts mat-based Pilates classes for beginning or intermediate levels.Experiences & QualificationsRelevant degree/qualifications to the roleIndustry experience as a Qualified Pilates Reformer InstructorExperience working individually and /or within a multi-disciplinary environmentAreas of specialism (Pilates Mat, Reformer)Additional Yoga qualification would be an advantageCPD, certifications, seminars, upskill workshops and ongoing education during their professional career.Comfortable with new and different cultures.A dynamic attitude, as the role(s) may expand into Saudi Arabia and the rest of the world over the next 5 years.Character: hardworking, team player, flexible, creative, passionate, energetic, and charismatic showcasing a positive attitude, and forward-thinking with a growth mindset.Polished high self-maintenance and etiquette standards.A strong burning desire to grow both personally and professionally.
