Legal Counsel Experience: 6+ years of experience as a Legal professional in a business environment Education: Bachelors degree in law is required; Masters preferred. Location: Riyadh, KSA About the role This role involves managing legal risks, drafting Commercial Agreements, Labor Laws, Corporate Taxation, Licensing, and Litigation. It includes overseeing government platforms management, leading projects assigned by the CEO, and protecting the company's intellectual property. This position also serves as the Board Secretary, ensuring governance and compliance. Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Legal Advice: Provide accurate and timely counsel on various legal topics, such as labor law, partnerships, and corporate finance
  • Draft and Review Documents: Draft, review, and solidify agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to ensure the company's full legal rights.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure the company adheres to internal governance policies and complies with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Risk Management: Identify and evaluate risk factors regarding business decisions and operations and apply adequate risk management techniques.
  • Litigation Management: Manage and direct litigation strategies and represent the company in legal proceedings when necessary.
  • External Communication: Communicate and negotiate with external parties, such as regulators, external counsel, and public authorities, to build relationships of trust.
  • Board Secretary Duties: Prepare and maintain minutes of board meetings, ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and provide legal guidance to the board of directors when required.
  • Intellectual Property (IP) Management: Oversee the protection and enforcement of the company's intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Advise on IP strategy and manage IP-related disputes.
