Job Description

  • Configure and manage backup processes to ensure data protection and system integrity.
  • Oversee restoration processes to recover data in case of failure or loss.
  • Ensure the implementation of data protection strategies and procedures.
  • Perform risk assessments related to data loss or backup failures.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot backup failures to ensure the continuity of services.

Personal Skills

  • Strong attention to detail in managing data backup configurations.
  • Ability to perform risk assessments and make informed decisions.
  • Problem-solving skills to handle data protection and recovery issues.

Technical Skills

  • Experience with backup technologies such as Veeam, Veritas, etc.
  • Knowledge of storage systems and their integration with backup solutions.
  • Expertise in disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Proficiency in automation scripting using Bash or PowerShell.
  • Skills in troubleshooting backup and restoration failures.
