Te Whare WÄnanga o AwanuiÄrangi is a vibrant and exciting tertiary education institution which offers a range of programmes from certificates to doctorates across a range of disciplines. We are seeking a team player with a passion for marketing and promotions to spearhead our brand and recruitment marketing activities. As a member of the marketing and communications team, your primary focus will be implementing effective promotional campaigns to increase student enrolments in our programmes. Our successful applicant will have:
- A relevant qualification at degree level and/or equivalent relevant work experience in business, marketing or public relations.
- Experience in the field of promotional marketing and recruitment, preferably in a tertiary environment.
- Experience building networks with whÄnau, hapÅ«, iwi and the community.
- Proven ability to use Microsoft Office and database software.
- Knowledge of tikanga MÄori and the ability to korero Te Reo MÄori to at least an intermediate level along with a willingness to improve Te Reo skills beyond this level.
- A full clean driver’s licence.
- The ability to travel away from home to support scheduled off-site activities.
