We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Polymer Plant Equipment Engineer to join our team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of equipment in our petrochemical polymer plant. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in polymer plant equipment engineering to make a significant impact in a dynamic industry.Responsibilities:Implementing equipment modifications and improvements to enhance plant efficiency and productivity.Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of polymer plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment-related issues in a timely manner.Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and reduce operational costs.Providing technical expertise and support for equipment procurement, installation, and commissioning projects.Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for polymer plant equipment.Training and mentoring junior engineering staff to enhance their technical skills and knowledge of polymer plant equipment.Key requirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.At least 15 years of engineering experience in asset reliability and maintenance.Recognized technical/engineering expert on design, maintenance, and operation of rotating equipment specific to polymer and petrochemical plants as demonstrated by significant accomplishments and contributions acquired over a period of 15 or more years.Experience related to Design/Engineering or of Service/Technical support group with a major pump OEM is preferred.Possesses a thorough knowledge of general principles and theories related to engineering and contributes significantly to the solution of a variety of unique and complex engineering problems.Experience of people management and ability to use influence to achieve results.Flexible and able to re-prioritize tasks based on changing business needs.Desire and ability to self-teach new software programs or systems.Excellent communication skills both interpersonal skills and presentation skills to all levels including executive management.Above average proficiency in English language (written and spoken).Proficient in MS Office applications (with advanced knowledge of MS Excel).Experience within the Gulf States would be advantageous.Salary: Competitive Sector: Oil, Gas & Energy Contract Type: Permanent Town/City: Dhahran
