Our client are a leading Builders Merchants providing building supplies to a mixture of house builders, contractors, housing associations, and end users. Due to an internal promotion, our client are looking for a Branch Manager Designate / Assistant Branch Manager to join their busy and succesful branch in Surrey. The role will be undertaking the Assistant Branch Manager position within the Builders Merchant supporting the Branch Manager with the running on the branch. The branch manager is very strong operationally, and is ideally looking for someone Sales focused who can take a leading role in driving sales within the business. You will also need to have operational management knowledge as you will be deputising for the Branch Manager in his absence. This role will suit someone who is ready to make a move up to Branch Management in the near future, as this role is intended for someone to be waiting in the wings once a suitable opportunity at this level presents itself within the business. You will also be provided with training to assist in any gaps in the knowledge required to be a Branch Manager. Due to the nature of the role, and the need to be able to step up to Branch Manager in the not too distant future, our client are looking to speak with candidates who have experience working within a Buidlers Merchants. You could currently be an Assistant Branch Manager, Sales Manager, or Branch Supervisor and feel you are ready to make the next step in your career.
