We are focused on a variety of initiatives to build a world-class internal IT infrastructure to support our expanding team.Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced IT Security Consultant on a contract basis. Your work will involve setting up and securing IT infrastructure, leading up efforts to achieve SOC II compliance, optimizing onboarding procedure and user device management to enhance employee experience. Establishing the foundation of our IT infrastructure will be critical to our long-term success, and the setup must be durable to support future growth. This role is critical in enhancing our security posture and ensuring seamless access to essential tools for our team.Key Responsibilities:Reporting: This role will report directly to the CEO, requiring a consultative approach to ensure alignment with company objectives.Onboarding and Provisioning Optimization: Optimize employee onboarding processes, device provisioning, and company software spend to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.AWS Security Posture: Establish and enhance the security posture within AWS to support SOC II compliance.SOC II Compliance: Develop and implement strategies to achieve SOC II compliance, including leading SOC II readiness and establishing our security posture in AWS.JumpCloud Optimization: Configure and manage JumpCloud for effective SSO and device management.MDM Implementation: Install and set up a robust Mobile Device Management solution.Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve configuration issues impacting access productivity.Mobile Access Enablement: Ensure secure access to work Gmail and other applications on mobile devices.Policy Development: Establish IT policies and procedures that enhance security and efficiency.Team Collaboration: Work closely with leadership and staff to minimize disruptions and improve IT operations.Employee Device Setup: Assist all employees with setting up their devices to ensure secure and efficient access to company resources.Qualifications:Trust: Must be highly trustworthy, as this role involves handling sensitive company information and ensuring the security of our IT infrastructure.Experience: Minimum of 4 years in IT security consulting with a focus on SOC II compliance.Technical Skills: Proficiency in JumpCloud, Device Management solutions, and Google Workspace administration.
