Our client, a leading provider of window and door screens for residential properties across Canada, is currently looking to add a Screen Installation Specialist to their growing team!The Installation Specialist is responsible for the accurate, safe and aesthetically pleasing installation of all screen products sold by the company. This includes the installation of products on client's doors, windows or other large openings. The Installation Specialist is responsible for providing outstanding professionalism in all situations, as well as completing all installations and services in a consistent and high-quality manner. The Installation Specialist is also responsible for providing repair or service to any of our products at the client's site.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Preparing for installation• Review schedule for order and appointment information. Clarify any questions. Load truck with install orders.• Ensure that truck is stocked with required tools, spare parts and accessories at all times.Installation workClient Contact and Service• Discuss the installation with client and answer any questions or concerns they may have.• Complete the installation of screens in an accurate, safe and prompt manner.Post Installation client follow up• Once the installation is completed or you are leaving the client's location, fully clean the work area and ensure that the screen looks great.• Complete the appointment with relevant details.• Do not leave appointment if installation is unfinished. Speak with a Manager for a solution or Exception.• If the client is home:• Demonstrate the use screen, maintenance and use of silicone spray.Post Installation Work• Bring cheques or cash into the Order Desk on your next trip to the office.• Do not leave garbage at the customer's home. Bring back boxes, foam and any old screens or parts removed from the customer's door.Daily Documentation• Each day that an Installer works or uses the company vehicle must be thoroughly documented.• Each installation assigned must be completed as specified. No deviation from documented specifications is permitted without first being authorized by the Sales Representative who spec'ed the job or a Manager.• Weekly Work logs must be submitted, either in person or via email or fax, on Monday morning of the following week.• Thorough documentation on Service Orders must be completed, including the Comments section.Other general duties• Follow all health, safety and Covid safety protocols at all times.• Communicate well with clients, employees, dealers and drivers.• Train other employees on the installation tasks as required.• Report any issues, concerns or irregularities you notice to management in a timely manner.• Cross-train in other areas of the company as required by management.• Work shifts at home shows and trade shows as scheduled on a periodic basis.• Perform other tasks required by management on a periodic basis.• Work as a Screen Assembler in the warehouse, or as a General Labourer on large, multi-person jobs as required.Job Requirements:Excellent abilities in speaking, writing and reading EnglishValid Ontario class G Driver's licenseComfortable handling power tools: cordless drill, mitre/chop saw, drill press, table sawAble to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentCapable of lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basisExcellent math skills - able to measure accurately in the imperial system, including adding and subtracting to the 16th of an inchAbility to use ladders, work on scaffolding and on balconies (no fear of heights).Excellent accuracy in documenting client personal information, payment information and order detailsTo apply to this position, please submit your resume to Eglys at eglys@torontojobs.caCompany InfoTorontoJobs.ca Recruitment Division 6645 Kitimat Road, Unit 27Mississauga, ON, CanadaPhone: 905-812-5627www.TorontoJobs.ca
