This person will utilize best practices and methodologies to design and implement the best solution for our clients. This key member of our team contributes to the entire software development lifecycle including analysis, requirement specification, use case and data modeling, development, testing, and implementation as well as educating and leading others in the form of code reviews, workshops, and documentation.Responsibilities:Lead large scale AEM technical requirementsResponsible for supporting any new business development activities or RFPsTechnical grooming for functional stories and create tech design documentation for development teamResponsible for providing platform governance and operational guidelines following best practices in multi-tenant environmentSupport development team in designing and troubleshooting any environment issuesImpact analysis and effort estimations on change requestAssesses work effort for time to complete estimatesBuild multi-view architecture diagrams for different stakeholders and meeting their prospectsInteract with client technical leads and architects in support of physical and integration architectureInteract with engagement and project managers to ensure proper adherence to SDLC and to conduct project risk identification and mitigation planningParticipates in the software design, software development, and package implementation using standard WCM or eCommerce platforms such as Adobe AEM (CQ), SDL Tridion, hybris and Oracle/ATGProvides advanced-level development, testing, debugging and documentation skillsProvides oversight, planning, and technical guidance to ensure successful delivery of software projectsEnsures software developed adheres to best practices and quality standards through code and design reviewsVendor management with AMS teamBasic Qualifications:7+ years experience designing Adobe Experience Manager solutions5+ years experience leading teams and technical project requirements5+ years of hands on Java & J2EE/JEE software development experience3+ years of experience designing solutions with related techs (Target, Analytics, AEP etc…)University degree or equivalent work experienceBilingual communications in French and English are required for this positionEnglish is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.Nice to Have:AEM Architect CertifiedExperience working with WCM platforms and tools such as SDL Tridion, Sitecore, Fatwire, CrownPeak, hybris, Oracle/ATG Demandware, Intershop and IBM WebSphere CommerceExperience in multiple web technologies including: XML, HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS, AJAX / JavaScript, Web Services/SOAP, SQLExperience with one or more Java concepts and patterns including: Java/J2EE, JSP, Spring, Sling, JMS, JUnit, AOP, MVC, EclipseExperience and full lifecycle involvement with both waterfall and Agile methodologiesExperience with multiple source control systems: CVS, SVN, GitWorking knowledge of multiple web and application tier technologies: Tomcat, WebSphere, Weblogic, Apache Spring tcServer, Solr, open source packages Experience with project automation technology: Jenkins, Continuum, Hudson, automated unit testing, Maven, Ant Experience with the performance tuning and analysis: thread dump analysis, heap dump analysis, profilers, performance troubleshootingExperience with web application design and analysis, design patterns, and object oriented designExperience with multiple Unix/Linux operating systemsAbility and willingness to split time between management and hands-on software design, development, and reviewStrong leadership skills, including the ability to deliver constructive feedback and the ability to lead by exampleHands on experience estimating development tasksAbility to anticipate issues and formulate remedial actionsExperience managing and/or being managed by remote teams/officesExcellent verbal and non-verbal communication skillsExperience in a consulting environmentDemonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilianDemonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
